It’s interesting to wonder what would have happened had this guy won his lawsuit against MillerCoors, the complaint basically being that MillerCoors have been deceiving customers with Blue Moon as a small independent brewery. If the ownership of a company, be it beer or not, is important to you then you need to peel back the marketing and take a look, worst case scenario maybe you spend a full minute or two Googling to find out.

This is a pretty good little look at the average day of a beer rep. Sure there is a lot of beer involved but there is also a lot of emails, a lot of phone calls and a lot of rejection. The community of beer reps though is pretty amazing. It’s all summed up pretty well in this piece.

I think Indian Ocean Brewery will be great to watch for the rest of the year. With Jack Purser having taken over the head brewer five or so months ago they’ve got some new looks, new beers and came back from this years Australian International Beer Awards with some medals too.
